Gigondas Soils
This Gigondas comes from the "Les Grames" vineyard site. Here, the soil consists of sandy marl and brown marl, interspersed with limestone fragments.
Château Mazane comes from a plot of old Grenache vines planted in 1920.

Winemaking and aging
Hand-harvested, whole uncrushed clusters, aged for 16 months in concrete tanks.
Tasting
The aromas lean towards fine spices, white pepper, and scents of the *garrigue*.
On the palate, it features fine tannins and a fresh finish, with mingled notes of ripe fruit and spice box.
Consumption advice
Ideal between 1 and 10 years of age. Decant if consumed young. Serve at 17°C..
